Summary

Update: I've added a beefier version as my original version gave way to stresses over time and flexed a bit causing it to become ineffective.

This part is made to be attached to the CRTouch (Creality's version of the BLTouch) and is used to patch it's biggest flaw. When the hot end is in motion, because it's a metal probe vs the plastic one in the BLTouch, it rattles. While not very noticeable when you've got the stock fans installed, it can get annoyingly loud if you've done a silent fan mod.

The usage of this would be to have it in the up position while it's doing any homing or probing tasks and then you would flip it down to hold the probe in place once it's moved onto the priming step down the left side or you have enough clearance to make the flip. This can be done after it's a few layers into the print, depending on the z-offset, or when it's laying out the line of filament to prime the hot end on the far left of the build plate as the probe would be off the edge.

As shown in the last photo I added a little chamfer so you can easily remove the clip from your CR Touch with your scraper by going flat along the front and giving it a little pressure.

If you do forget to unclip the probe the CR Touch does have a built in check so when it goes to do the Z position during the homing it'll throw an M112 and stop the whole thing before it starts. Just fix the clip and restart the print. This happens to me about 50% of the time.
