Summary

Historical-style crossbow trigger machinery

A 2nd-century BC star product made with 21st-century technology :)

  • Near real-size model of a traditional Chinese crossbow's trigger part (Nuji, 弩机), with reference to 2nd century BC ~ 5th century artifacts
  • Practically usable; May optimally be assembled with crossbow arm & bows of ~0.5m length (not included in model).
  • Parts were intentionally left hollow on one side to give view to the inner structure. This reduced the model's structural strength. Reinforcing modifications might be needed to handle high draw tensions when actually used on a crossbow.
