Summary

After printing the original Death Whistle by Jinkai, I could confirm as others did that it's quite tiny, hence the object's walls are reeeaaally thin... And although I managed to print it and take it off the printer without problem, it didn't sound that great at all (nothing like the scream you hear in the original maker's video).

So I decided to print it a bit bigger – and that's when I noticed the overall shape was almost that of a head... I thought, why not make it a head? Like, a skeleton head to match the creepy sound? ^^

I scaled it up 150%, sculpted it with Blender and this is what I got. Since I wanted to keep the original curvature so as to not alter its sound, I went for a semi-realistic skull face (also I tried to avoid overhanging surfaces and, of course, holes were forbidden). I think it looks good enough and, moreover, it sounds just right! Like a girl screaming in a horror movie; perfect toy for Halloween. >:)

I'm just sorry not to be proficient enough with Blender, that I couldn't sculpt the original model without tesselating it whole. It won't affect printing, especially at so small a size, but I'd rather have kept the other side clean (since I didn't touch it anyway). Feel free to try and combine my sculpt with the original model!
