Summary

THIS HAS BEEN TESTED AND WORKS BEAUTIFULLY!!!

This design allows you to reuse your stock dual extruder carriage on your Replicator 2x clone (Creator Pro, Duplicator 4, ect) and mount the E3D Cyclops or Chimera extruder. I'm not the type to document as I go, but I dove headfirst into running the Cyclops on my Duplicator 4s today, and it works beautifully. The printer really benefits heavily from the reduced carriage weight.

You pretty much remove the stock extruder assembly from the carriage by the heat spreader then put this in it's place with some m3 screws and nuts. The adapter itself will fit on the carriage with the bulge going to the front or the back, but the extruder fan only fits facing the front and with the screws for that fan only in the top holes. It's a tight fit, but everything clears and has plenty of breathing room. The oblong hole is for wire routing.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CYCLOPS!
Sailfish firmware is crazy with toolhead offsets. If you enter a value that is -4mm to 4mm, it adds that value to the default of 33mm, anything over and it is an absolute value from tool 0's position. This means setting the offset to 0 (since both tools are the same nozzle) makes T1 print +33mm off. The only workaround I've found is with Simplify3d. Under the Gcode tab, you can set toolhead offsets. Set Tool 1 to -33.00 and click the check beside "Apply toolhead offsets to G-code." Make sure the toolhead offsets on the printer's menu are both set to 0. This will make everything come out perfect.
