Summary

This is an alignment guide for the Creality Falcon2 laser engraver/cutter 22W & 40W. It allows you to line up the laser beam precisely where you wish on the cutting surface, and it also ensures that the cutting surface is aligned with the XY axis.

To use:

  1. Position your cutting head somewhere in the cutting area, and use "Set Orgin"
  2. Place the surface to be cut in the cutout in the alignment tool.
  3. Slide the alignment tool and the cutting surface so that the raised parts of the tool engage with the laser cutting head.
  4. Remove the alignment tool.

The laser will now start cutting at your origin, and the cutting surface will be aligned with the XY axis.

The source file (FreeCAD) is included so you can remix it for other lasers.
