After inadvertently tripping the Emergency Stop button on my Creality Falcon2 40W laser I searched Thinginverse for a protective shroud to solve this issue. I could not find one for the 40W so I designed this in Fusion360.
It's simple but effective. I made sure to round any sharp edges so that if my arm brushes against the shroud I won't get a nasty PLA scratch. The shroud just sits loosely under the Emergency Stop button so if you do need to press the button, the shroud spins freely for easy resetting of the button.
