The file 'Creality Ender 3 (1st GENERATION) – Y Axis Damper Mount (to Not Hit The Bed Plate) 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 139.0KB.
EDIT : In the File section i uploaded a new "FLAT" version which has the 2040 extrusion placed horizontally, like in the CR10 printers.
EDIT : i uploaded a new version of this support, with shorter arm with M5 hole, back the Y endstop, because the old version interfere of 3mm with the endstop mount. This version fix that problem.
I remixed a good design found here on Thingiverse because when i mounted my stepper damper on y axis, in my Creality Ender 3, the stepper's back hit the metal bed support plate.
With this mount you can use the damper without grind the metal from the support plate, and fit easily the stepper.
I remixed the original design to add more toughness and resistance to bending to this piece (i mount something very similar in other printers)
I use M5x10 and a M5 T-nut to lock the piece on the other side, you can also avoid it and not screw anything in the hole. I'm printing this piece now, and i'll upload soon a photo of it on my printer.
It's better to print it in ABS with a good infill and minimum 3 walls.
Feel free to suggest improvements and upload your makes and photos !
