I was looking for a spool holder, but didn't want to throw away the spool holder that comes with the Creality CR 10s. So I made an insert which is an axel for two (or three if you like) 608ZZ bearings. Just cut out two small pieces out of the original spool.
First put in de disc with the hole. Then put the other piece in while adding the bearings through the cut outs. The other way around won't work.
These parts are snug at mine, but maybe you need some glue to keep the axel centred so the bearings won't touch your cut outs.
