I wanted to create a unique, customizable and flexible case for my brand new iPhone 8. I used Dynamo, the open-source visual programming system from Autodesk and its experimental system for creating generative designs: Project Fractal - If you want to play around and download your own STL, see the "customizer" here. Otherwise, you can check out some of the samples I attached to this Thing. This should fit iphone 7 and 8 models (not plus.) I may expand to other sizes.
I used my Makerbot Replicator 2 and SainSmart TPU. See settings below.
