I gave up the idea of this toolhead and designed an adapter plate for the Hero Me Gen7. The original CR-10SE mounting bracket for the CR-Touch can still be used. The advantage is the free choice of fans and hotends.
I am in the process of freeing my CR10SE from its original board, tool head board, the heavy extruder and print head cover. I want to switch to the Sherpa Mini as an extruder and the board will be an SKR Mini E3 V3 Mini or Manta-E3EZ, which will then run Klipper natively. So I created a rough and possibly functional prototype with TinkerCad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/59GtwJttBX4-cr10sesherpaminimountfanduct?sharecode=PgpzqV5aQ38rAyvxnb7N6mo80udBtZde6t2K2xcpY0w The original parts were used as far as possible, except for the prtouch part. The fan mounting is not really stable. I also haven't thought about cable management yet. Maybe someone would like to take up the idea, test it and/or improve it.
The fan duct must in any case be made of temperature-stable filament. ASA/ABS
I haven't tested it yet!
