I have been looking for a wall mount for my Creality Falcon 2 laser engraver for a long time. After failing to find one, I modelled my own.
Instructions:
- Print out the right and left halves at 100% and push them together
- Hold the bracket on the wall with a spirit level (if necessary, stick it on temporarily with adhesive tape)
- Make the drill markings through the holes in the model
- Remove the model and drill the holes
- Fasten the bracket with 4 screws (max. diameter 5.9 mm)
- Mount the laser and honeycomb
Tips:
- It's best to print the holder in ABS or PETG. I printed it in PLA and, as you can see in the pictures, it is sagging a bit.
- I would recommend printing with support structures.
- If not all legs of the laser touch the wall when hanging it, I recommend printing the file "Wallmount_Supporter" with TPU 4 times. Then the supporters must be placed over the existing legs. This guarantees that all legs touch the wall and the laser hangs straight.
I hope that my model will help some laser owners to save space.
