Summary

You may need some rollers for your CR-30 / 3D Print Mill and here is a modular design. You can create multiple series of rollers to print them the length you need.
Unfortunately, you will need a regular 30x30x40 cm 3D printer to print some of the parts, like the rollers themselves.

Require: 608 bearings and some crazy glue

Printing information and instruction:

  • It is strongly advised to print all the parts in PETG except the rollers that can be printed in PLA. If you want to print PLA only, then increase the outline numbers AND increase the infill density (see instruction image).
  • Even if you print in PETG, be generous in outlines and infill. It's easy to break some parts as you will probably spend your time installing/removing these rollers, especially where you can add screws.
  • It is optional, but I added one screw in each hole for the plug which will connect with the bearing. It gives extra strength and it's an easy add (see instruction image)
  • The roller must be printed vertical. You will need to add a little bit of support for the internal hole.
  • For the other part, you can print them without supports, if your 3D printer is well calibrated and if you use a decent slicer.
  • The part that keeps in position the left and right side, can be added also on the top, making the assembly even more stable. Then print it once or twice, up to you!
  • Obviously, the bearing goes in the rollers holes. You can glue them, but be careful with the amount of glue applied!
