The file 'CPU Heatsink Adapter For LGA1150 Motherboard And AM3/AM3+ Heatsink 3D Printer Model' is (step, stl) file type, size is 565.5KB.
** Update : I have been using this thing for 5 years now and I moved from California to Colorado and it survived the move as well. This thing is proven
I upgraded from an AMD phenom 1055t (socket AM3) to an Intel i7 4770 (socket LGA1150) and I wanted to re-use my old heatsink on the new system. My problem was the heatsink and bracket from AM3 is not compatible with LGA 1150. The heatsink I used is (I think) the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, but it is the style that has the latch/lever handle thing...
This design is what I printed to solve that problem.

Designed from scratch, and included the step file for you to measure/modify if need be.
The 1.2mm spacers might not be necessary, but I used one under each leg. Adding more spacers will loosen the contact on the CPU. You should use them if you feel that you are applying too much force on the tightening latch when attaching the heatsink.
I recommend ABS for heat resistance. PETG would probably be fine. Would NOT recommend PLA!
