Summary

Needed parts:

  • M8 bolt
  • M8 nut
  • 1 cent (euro cent) coin.

Printing advises:

  • 100% infill on both parts, at least on part 2.
  • 200 microns is enough, but it is better to print in 100-150.
  • working even with PLA
  • you can use lubricant on the rail (such as lithium grease)

Compatibility:
All 37.5mm non-soldered intel LGA CPU are supposed to be compatible.
I can't test all CPU, but It worked so far on all generations from 775 to 1151, except 1156 that isn't tested (most of them, if not all were soldered).

Please note I am not responsible for eventual cpu destruction, or any other issue.
I share a functional and tested tool, you are responsible for what you do with.
And again, check if your cpu have internal paste or indium solder before trying to delid it !

If you have issues on sliding, be sure to remove any support trace, having your printer calibrated, and not printing too fast.

This design is made for deliding some CPUs, but it may become ineffective after deliding ~3 units, due to the high force on a small part or plastic.
If it happens, you should print again the bottom part.
