The file 'Covid Face Mask Cotton Disk 3D Printer Model' is (f3d,stl) file type, size is 2.5MB.
Yet, another face mask.
may be this is "one too many" but i´d like to bring here some approaches that i didn´t see arround.
Feature 1:
This uses cotton disk (makeup cotton disk) as i understood.. is a good filter material, but don´t work if get moisture... so in order to prolong the life time of a disk, i place an "internal shield" against breath.
Feature 2:
have two cotton disk, for make it more easy to breath thru
Feature 3:
comfort upgrade and seal over face. i´ve seen some ideas, using molds to meake soft resines/rubber seals... love the idea.. but most of pepople can´t get those materials under the lockdown... so .. my aproach is to use paper napkings (or any other household material like so) whith some sort of holder to the perimeter...
Feature 4: it´s holds against your backhead, not your ears and "any" string can be used.. no need for elastics. two functional backhead pices included.
Feature 5: Easy print... no supports, less material as posible. but smal parts may need a brim.
As this is not n95 mask, use with carefull.. best way to prevent contagion is washing hands and NOT touching your face ... i am currently working in a "snap on" gogles for this mask... also using household materials ( probably cutting a plastic bottle)
Chose not to add an "exaust valve" .. the idea is "keep other safe too"
Added the Fusion360 files. hopefuly somebody will take this and make a better version. (i´m a noob in fusion, so the files are messy. sorry)
Best whishes and be safe..
