The file 'Corbeau “Sugar Project” Building 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 12.4MB.
It was time to think about buildings to put on my gaming table. There are many models around that could have been nice but ... I wanted to avoid wasting time and PLA. So, I decided to launch my own building project with the following rules: easy to make, easy to paint and cheap. I decided not to print the square basis mandatory for a building but to use something ready and cheap like a "sugar box". Those metal boxes we can purchase for nothing. The only condition is that they must have a metallic bump bottom (do they all have that ?). I made some barriers with a simple system to grab those bumps and make an armored roof in 2 seconds. You can mix both models to cover all the surface or leave some space for stairs or ladder. Armored barriers are sized to fit a regular sugar box with ease.
For the walls, I selected and adapted a bunch of tools to customize at will. You'll find a gothic window which can be filled with plane things, some pillars and archs, a ventilation system with pipes, a sized ladder, some doors, some loopholes. You'll also find lanterns for the corners and a light cap if you plan to add some leds (as I did) The good part of that project is that you can add everything you want on the building. And above all, the sugar box allows magnets everywhere^^.
I'll soon make a video to explain how I made and painted it.
PS: the two last pictures are a wip painted building.
