Summary

I've designed a compact case and a EX. case for the BNO085, for the breakout board by TheButlah. The case fits the PCB with components, along with a 10mm thick 33x51mm battery. The maximum battery size that fits the case is 35x54mm, with 1-2mm clearance at the top. If your battery is thinner, you can compensate for the difference using the "battery extender". Simply adjust the Z-height in your slicer accordingly. The default height of the extender is set to 8mm.

Otherwise, feel free to edit the case to your needs. All models are included as a step file.

Lip EX and Lip "normal"

There are two lip versions: the EX has a cutout for the JST Port in case you want to use an extension, while the normal one does not.

Mounting:

I use both Velcro and a strap (see example image) for securing the trackers.

Recommendation:

The case is designed to be opened and closed. Please note that you need to flash the tracker beforehand, as I did not include a cutout for the Wemos D1 micro USB port.
I also recommend gluing the lid with superglue once you permanently close the tracker (it's still a 3D print, so repeated opening and closing will fatigue the material).

I recommend placing some foam or cotton between the PCB and the lip to ensure everything is held securely in place.

3D Print:

Only the cutout for the strap need support. i use 20% infill and a layerhigh of .2 mm.
