These stands are for displaying your controllers on a shelf.
They are very close in design to various other stands on thingiverse, but with the aim of having a consistent design for being shown side by side, and with the controllers ending up at similar vertical heights. Not shown in the photograph, but there are variants for the SNES controller with either SNES or Super Famicom logo.
The cable can be wrapped on the back section and plugged into the left side of the stand.
As a caution to those printing the Sega models, getting a close fitting holder for the DE-9 connectors was tricky. I believe most of the hold in an actual connector comes from the pins themselves. The sizes in these models are a good fit for the OEM controllers that I have, but when testing with some aftermarket controllers I was left with a very loose fit. I'd be interested to hear if this causes issues for anybody else.
