Played at Ion in 2016. I need a camera mount that didn't stick out from the side of my head like a telephone pole. I also wanted to protect the camera from paintball hits.

Some advice about capturing video. Gun cam's are fun for that one awesome shot but they spend a lot of time recording the ground. At least thats true in scenario games. If it's going to be running at least capture some of the insane stuff others do. Or get a great blooper clip.

To that end I mounted mine on my mask. To get good video place the camera on the opposite side of your shooting hand. If you don't you will have a bunch of video of the back of your gun. Most people sight down the barrel when they shoot.

There are 2 holes you will need to drill in your mask. It can be mounted on either side of your mask. All the nut traps are for M3 nuts.

I have added a washer / gromit for the back side of the mask. On the softer materials the m3 screws pull through. Put the screw through the washer, the hole in the mask and into the camera mount.

You wont be able to tell if the Camera is not exactly at eye level. Having it at you jaw line or at the top of your ear will not make a lot of difference.
