The file 'Containment Unit Dice Tower 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.0MB.
I wanted to make something a little fun for during my ad breaks on twtich.tv/casualrespawn, and I thought what better way to make a dice tower other than making one out of the containment unit itself!
This model lets you open the trap door, load in a D20 (or other dice), and close it to have the dice roll out!
I printed out everything separately on me Ender 3V2, and glued it together and did a little weathering. For the hinge itself I cut a finishing nails head/point off, and plastic welded the ends so the nail can't fall out.
I also made it so if you are feeling lazy and don't want to open the trap door you can simply drop the dice in the top.
For version one I don't think it's too bad myself. I may revisit someday to make the construction/assembly a little easier.
Thanks to chadbaycroft for the OG design! I just had to make the door/hinge a separate unit but this gave me an excellent base to start with. I also added a little height to the door handle, to make it easier to grab.
