This small cone is for wool winders normally found on amazon, etc.
Slits on both sides on top is for holding the starting end of the yarn, which would match with the slits on the wool winder.
With this cone, you don't have to pull out the yarn from the wool winder and leave it slaggy! But instead you can use it with your yarn holder, and also more convenient to organize your yarns.
