Maintaining a .4mm gap around articulating joints, this design prints entirely in-place with no post-processing required, and virtually zero support structures.
In its primary orientation, it can easily hold a 2021 12.9-inch iPad Pro at several angles. Its reverse orientation can do the same for smartphones.
The cutout in the retaining joint ensures that microphones/speakers aren't blocked during FaceTime/Zoom calls and, when used in smartphone-mode, actually helps to direct sound toward the user.
