This is an attempt to design as compact as possible 3 axis brushless gimbal for SJCAM and gopro cameras.
Gimbal is designed with RCTimer GBM2804 motors in mind and targets (with the current frame mount) a flamewheel like frame with 37mm spacing between top and bottom plates.
To keep the gimbal as compact as possible the rev around Z axis is quite limited but it should be enough to smooth out yaw movements.
I did a test print and setup - with SJ4000 there's a problem with balance (should be ok now - need to reprint) on the roll axis with the current version. Untill the pitch arm is updated you'll need to either apply a small counterweight on the camera side.
Other than that - works great :) (see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHf7ikSdP_4 , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tePknWLL-Ks)
Yaw is approx +-20 deg.
If you want a 2 axis skipping yaw/roll arm should do the trick :)
