The file 'Column Chess Set 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.2MB.
I was messing around creating game pieces for my print and play games, and when I showed my friends on game night they thought I was making a chess set.
So I did.
The pawn in this set was the inspiration for the set, and I scaled it up and made the other pieces in the same theme. I did all the modeling in Tinkercad using a couple Shape Generator scripts, "Twisted Polygon" for the column, and "Wavy Topped Cylinder" for the tops. The nice thing is because they are geometric wave, you can stack the pawns head to head in an oddly satisfying manner.
The hardest piece was the Knight, which is half of a bishop head cut up and put back together sort of. I think it came out OK, and seems to fit with the theme.
