Summary

I wanted to make a dice tower that would collapse down to easily pack up in a gaming backpack, but would open up to be a functional item. But also to be of 'decent size', as a lot of the ones I see on here that do fold up, are very very small.

This one works by using 3mmx2mm magnets. There are two spots in the tray, and 4 spots on the tower itself. You connect it at the bottom to have it be in tray mode, and connect it flat for storage.

This is designed to print without any supports. You'll note that some of the 3mm circles for the magnets will have a 'peak' on one side of them. This is meant to be the top when you are printing, and stops any sag from making the magnet not fit. If printed accurately, the magnet should need to be force fit rather hard, but not need any glue. If yours is printed slightly more open (or if you choose to print it at something like 101-102% size), then just use glue :)
