Summary

Coin Set

This is a convenient set for printing your own fantasy currency, suitable for pen&paper games or boardgames. It comes with a large set of different sides and is sized to use euro-cent coins (1,2 and 5) as inner core to add a nice weight to them.

Tip #1: print them in copper/silver/gold according to what you need, or use the different coin sizes to indicate 1, 10, 100-gp coins (adventurers often find tons of gold, this makes it easier to have lots of it).

Tip #2: I modelled a symbol for the pathfinder god Abadar, might be usefull for the backside of a coin.

Model Info

I remodelled the outer ring and adjusted the size such that you can use Euro-Cent coins as weights (using them as weights cost literally just cents). Just print two "side" parts and one "border" part of the same base coin size, glue the two side parts to the base coin and surround with the border.

Note: I did not include all scaled number sides as I'm too lazy. But you can just the 5-Cent size and scale the X and Y axis (not Z!) to
18.75mm (or 88.24%) for 2-euro-cent coins.
16.25mm (76.47%) for 1-euro-cent coins.

Remix Info

If you want to create your own coin symbols, just create a round cylinder of height 0.6mm and diameter equal to the specific coin size (see below).Place a symbol on it with height 0.7mm. Print at 0.2mm layer height or lower.

side base layer height: 0.6mm
side symbol height: 0.7mm
total side height: 1.3mm

Just for reference if you want to create your own sides:
1 Euro-Cent: 1.625 cm (16.25mm)
2 Euro-Cent: 1.875 cm (18.75mm)
5 Euro-Cent: 2.125 cm (21.25mm)

And for completeness (not necessesary for creating sides):
Height for all Euro-Cent coins is 1.67mm
The outer ring is 4.27mm (2x1.3mm + 1.67mm) in height. The tricky part is to make the inside a bit larger than the side part diameters otherwise they will not fit (if you want to adjust it to your currency, consider the inside to be 0.04mm larger than the diameter of the coin).

I also included the autodesk fusion 360 files for you. Especially the Side_TextTemplate.f3d file is usefull if you want to just add some custom text/numbers to it.
