The Hamilton Beach "Scoop" single cup coffee maker uses a stainless steel basket for the grounds. With the large canisters of coffee at my workplace, I wanted to be able to put coffee grounds into the basket without needing to grab a spoon or a scoop.
This little helper sits snugly inside the basket, and the raised funnel gives a bigger target for pouring coffee grounds directly inside with no spilling on the counter or floor.
All typical warnings about food contact apply - I choose to use this because it only makes light contact with dry coffee grounds, and I shake it clean and put it away in the pantry.
