Summary

Cody is a coder, Roby is a robot. Cody provides instructions to Roby, who executes them.

CodyRoby is a free DIY card game to play with unplugged coding at any age.

CodyRoby was invented by Alessandro Bogliolo on November 2014 (and enhanced in August 2016), to allow Italian schools to take part into the European Robotics Week at no cost. It's a kit that can be dowloaded for free, printed out with little to no money, cut-out and folded to compose the card deck, the board, the pieces and the box where everything fits. I'm a mentor at CoderDojo Como, an italian CoderDojo kids coding club.
During a team brainstorming session in preparation of next events, we had the idea to add something to it, by providing full 3D printed objects, stronger and funnier to play than the paper card version.
We draw a board (18cm) with all the required pieces (3cm).
