Better Board Game Inserts

Guiding Principles

  • Board game pieces should stay put no matter the orientation of the box
  • No Bags!
  • Use as little filament as possible
  • Ideally no Supports

The Inserts

This post has multiple printable inserts. Note that with Spacer means the insert will sit square in the box.

  • Codenames works with the original game as well as Deep Undercover
  • For Pictures and Duet please use the respective files

Desgin

  • These were designed using Onshape here.
  • Additionally these were made from a board game inserts framework I built here.
