I have tested the attachment as show in the GIF pictured. I need to tweak the 4 wheeled Z-axis plate to ensure a better grip on the vertical 40x20 v-slot.
I have found the bed I have is not flat. My next step once happy with the CNC head is to make a open middle metal frame to hold the CNC/laser frame work and make a adjustable bed.

Parts have changed tolerances since the demo file to allow better fitment. It is now mounted but not tested
This is still a work in progress. I have printed most of the parts and have to mount it on the frame work.
Once im happy that it works correctly the files will uploaded here
This will fit on any 40x20 V-slot extrusion. The height is yours to decide depending on the extrusion and M6 rod used for the Z axis control.
