Summary

Intro

Hey guys, this is a very draft version of a Cloudwheel hub adapter for my Meepo V3. I didn't have time at all to finish it but I know many of us esk8 enjoyers may want to grab that file and continue working on it, so please do so!

The dimensions are currently all accurate for my Meepo V3 rear wheel hubs which are the OEM 90mm. I printed the front part of the hub adapter, and the hub cover and everything fits perfectly well.

Concept

The way I envisioned it is that you can have the adapter holding the Cloudwheel to be replacing the hub motor cover so the wheel is bolted onto the hub motor, and there could be an optional sleeve to put over the hub motor's urethane which could also be bolted to the hub motor sleeve in order to provide more strength to the overall structure. Finally, you would put the front adapter in the visible side (when installed on the hub motor) of the cloudwheel and screw long ass screws into both adapter in order to secure it.

I recently realized that if it's printed in PLA (which was my initial idea lol) this is never going to be able to be strong enough to hold a human and suffer bumps, but maybe if it was printed so that horizontal lines make up the print so it can withstand a lot of pressure (e.g., the printed layers should be in parallel to the road when installed on the hub motor)

As someone kindly mentioned in a Reddit comment: hub motors tend to get hot and it might be a better idea NOT to put the optional sleeve on the hub motors' urethane.
However, another idea I have is that the sleeve could be printed with like only 5 layers so it could still dissipate heat a bit, and the japanese design (or any other design) could be through all layers so they make holes for the urethane to still be exposed to direct air.
