Summary

Want to store physical / real world things in the Cloud... this is your storage solution!

The two 'Cloud Storage' designs are simple fun containers that are perfect for storing all sorts of small things. There are two different styles and each has three different container heights for different internal storage capacity (refer to the file name for the heights).

The difference between the two styles is as follows:

cloud_1 - A single cloud with one storage area (75mm x 48mm)

cloud_2 - Two clouds (represented as one behind the other like the OneDrive logo) and with two storage areas inside (100mm x 60mm)

A matching lid has been provided for each of the design styles so make sure you download matching containers and lids. For ease of removing the lid each container has a small section cut out of the top wall that is wide / deep enough for a finger nail.

The standard widths and depths are as noted in brackets above with each available in three different heights as noted earlier. The size can be uniformly scaled up with no issues but scaling down is likely to result in insufficient clearance between the mating surfaces of the lid and container so they will not fit together.

These are relatively quick and easy prints with relatively thin walls so do not use a lot of filament considering their size. They are novel little containers that are fun to use yourself but also make great gifts (or as a joke) for anyone and everyone interested in technology products and solutions.

Please refer to the images and print setting provided for additional information... and post images of your 'Cloud Storage' in use for other members to see.

Tips: Tips are not expected but are appreciated as they help offset my filament costs as much as anything else. However, as I live outside the USA tips cannot be sent to me via PayPal.Me as that service is not supported in my region and this is beyond Thingverse's control. If you feel like sending a tip please use regular PayPal and send it to [email protected] and, to those who do, thanks in advance!
