I changed the thread size to Acme 3/4" 5 TPI which despite being a dumb thread pattern, is more common in the US on brooms, painter's poles, etc. I also added a hole to tie some paracord so you can rack it and take it with you on the climb. This is such a slick design I couldn't bring myself to start from scratch.
