Summary

The Ergonomic Handle for Electrical Plug (UK) fits onto the standard T-Plug found in the UK with no need for disassembly of the plug.

The attachment is used to make it easier to put in and take out a plug from a socket. This could be a very helpful aide for people with arthritis, lower dexterity, lower mobility and injuries to the wrist or lower strength. Print one for appliances that are taken out often - hairdryers, kitchen gadgets, lamps etc. I now use my feet to plug in my printer so I don't have to bend down beneath my desk all the time!

TO MAKE:

  • 1 x M6 nut
  • 1 x M6 HEX bolt 40mm long.
  • 1 x Appliance with a UK plug (T-Plug) (this wont fit all UK plugs, mine came from Wilko though)
    • Printed parts. PLA works fine for this.

TO ASSEMBLE:
1 - Place M6 nut placed into the clip's hexagonal hole
2 - Snap the clip over the back of you plug, with a bit of force it will click into place.
3 - Now place the 40mm HEX M6 bolt through the handle.
4 - Finally screw in the handle to the clip.

Enjoy! Hope it helps.
