Sometime ago I saw Angus from Maker Muse on YouTube and he made a clearance test print and the idea was to know how tight parts can be before they brake loose and start spinning or not. So I kind of remember what his looked like and then made my own in Solid Edge. Here is the model.
I like the fact that it can print in about 1 hr and show you the quality of your printer. The rotating pins have a hexagonal cutout to fit a 5 mm Allen key and turn the pin all at a uniform pressure.
My printer got movement up to 0.2 clearance as 1.5 and 1.0 mm clearance fuse the box and the pins together.
Another thing is that the new Cura 3.5.0 gcode would shift in the y axis at about layer 25, giving me a crappy print. Using the Cocoon Cura version that came with my Cocoon create touch I was able to print a very nice model. don't know what went wrong.
