Replacement motor grip retainer plate for the Classic Army FN FAL. Likely fits JG/Echo 1/etc FAL's as well.
The stock part is junk pot metal and snaps in half if you're rough at all with the rifle.
Print in something tough like CF PETG, Polycarbonate, etc. Or have it done in DMLS.
Update 4/3/24:
Thickened the plate more to stop flexing and changed some geometry for the sake of better 3D Printing (FDM). STEP files now uploaded as well, including a STEP of the as-molded part for those that want to modify from scratch.
Update 6/27/24:
Realized I made a dimensional whoopsie on the motor cage screw hole location. Fixed this, also made some changes to the 3D Printed plate that'll tug the grip into the body tighter, in case you were getting wobble. Also included a for-machining STEP file that has some tweaks to make it easier to machine. All files updated to v4.
