The file 'Chunkier Chain (No Assembly, No Supports, No Fasteners) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 14.0MB.
Have you ever printed a Chunky Chain, only to realize it wasn’t chunky enough for you? I have, and today I offer a solution.
The Chunkier Chain resolves the issues of twisting and tangling that the Chunky Chain may encounter. Furthermore, this design is better optimized for printing and less derivative of existing metal chain products. The narrow-gapped form of the new chain links approaches the illusion of a continuous strip of material.
The Chunkier Chain has a gauge of roughly 0.5” and a length of roughly 50cm. It contains 17 pairs of inner and outer links, plus two clasp components. The single print-in-place STL file is less than 175mm in diameter.
Ain’t much to this project, as with the Chunky Chain. If you’re new to printing, this may be suitable as a large beginner project. No assembly required!
