One of the stow-n-go latches on my wife's 2005 Town and Country van broke. I looked at purchasing a replacement part, and the least expensive I found was around $30 from a questionable source. Rather than risk that (or pay twice that at a dealership) I decided to print a replacement. I searched Thingiverse, but didn't find the part. I decided to draw up the part myself. This thing is the result.
I printed it first in PLA to test the fit and work out any issues. I was planning to print the final in ABS. I made one attempt to print it in ABS and it didn't turn out to my satisfaction. I printed the part vertically (with supports) and the ABS curled up on the overhangs. The ABS part is functional, but looks a little sloppy. I suppose that doesn't really matter, since the part is hidden 99% of the time when it's in use, but I'm somewhat OCD at times. I installed the PLA part and it's been doing it's duty well since.
