The file 'Christmas Ball For Christmas Tree By Tüftlerbox 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 7.2MB.
Here is my second new christmas project.
You will also find the production on my Instagram page "Tueftlerbox" in the next time.
In total there will be some versions here.
Version: [thing: 5718636]: Christmas ball for christmas tree - screwed with many parts
Version: [this here]: Christmas ball for christmas tree - direct print with some breaks - with a magnet connection (next time also screwable)
[Update 23.12.2022] New Version V3:
The spaces for the rings are slightly larger so that the laser-cut rings fit better when inserted.
The printed rings also fit very well before.
The new version also has a printed central ring for a better look.
There is also a small gap in the middle of the ball, so that you can also install a small string of lights in the ball in a circle.
This version here is a print with some interruptions. You have to set a interruption in the slicer at a certain height. When the interruption has started, you can insert the either lasered or printed rings. Then you can continue printing until the next interruption. It is best to print the top and bottom half of the ball at the same time. The height of the interruptions is the same for both. At the very beginning of this version, you can also insert a magnet at the first interruption (diameter 10 mm, height 2 mm). The magnet will make it very easy to connect the two halves of the ball. Of course, you can also glue them together.
In addition, in the next time here will be also a screwable version.
For a whole ball you need:
-> File: ball_bottom_magnet 1x
-> File: ball_top_magnet 1x
-> magnets 10x2mm 2x
-> rings 1.1 and 1.2 also two times ( by printer or laser)
I wish you a lot of fun making it and a wonderful christmas time
