This is a gutter hook for a rope-light as a Christmas decoration. I've always liked the cleaner/straighter lines of rope lights around the roof lines at Christmas time. One of the issues I have had is finding a good hook to hold the rope light nice and taught on the gutter so it doesn't sag between hooks, and remains in-place in the weather. This hook accomplishes that, and I am able to make as many as I like on my printer.
This is designed for a standard Aluminum gutter that has a folded front top edge that is ~0.6in square. It is designed to hold a rope that has a 0.5in diameter. It grips both the gutter and the rope light firmly, so each hook is a firm location for mounting the rope-light and maintaining proper positioning.
It would be best to print this in a UV-stable material. I have used white PLA as it matches my gutter well.
