The file '“Chewey_GLK-17_Q1” Oculus Quest 1 VR Pistol Grip 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.7MB.
IMPORTANT: This is NOT a gun or any parts that would make a functional firearm. It is just a model shell grip for a VR controller.
NOTE: This is for the Oculus Quest 1 controllers. If you are looking for the Quest 2 version, please check prusaprinters.org.
WARNING: This is a difficult print that requires a very well calibrated printer. Do not use PLA or any similarly brittle material since the grip requires a slight flex to provide friction fit by design. Print at your own risk of failure.
Introducing the "Chewey_GLK-17_Q1"!
After seeing a couple of pistol grips on the market compatible the Oculus Quest 2 touch controllers, I want a set for myself to use with Pistol Whip and other shooter VR games on my Quest 2. However, I didn't want to pay $70-90 for a set for both hand controllers, so I decided to just make my own kit.
This is based on the Glock 17 1:1 scaled model by a user name archie73.
The picture is from the Quest 2 version, however, everything is the same except for the sizing of the hollow to fit the respective controller.
In addition to the reference models I noted in the Quest 2 posting, this Quest 1 model also uses the 3D scanned controller image posted by user aolshove here on Thingiverse.
