Summary

I created 3 shapes that can make various different items depending on how they are connected together:

  1. The ChainMaker01.stl is good for making lanyards, necklaces, bracelets. It has the benefit of making a lanyard that resists flipping your badge over (so your picture ID stays facing outwards).
  2. The Quad_Chain_fabric_links.stl is good for making cubes, bracelets, and anything you can dream up with a 4 sided connector.
  3. The Hex_Chain_fabric_links01.stl is good for making coasters, armor, and anything you can dream up with a 6 sided connector.

These are very simple to print - but it can get tedious to print one at a time. Make a few copies in your favorite slicer and print an array of them. When printing these in a large array, please make sure that your printer bed is very level and appropriately sticky (hairspray, gluestick, abs juice, etc.).
