Summary

The light emitted from the A15 LED bulb included with the Harbor Breeze Armitage ceiling fan is abysmal at best. Within minutes after function checking everything on the new install, the light bulb was replaced with a larger A21 LED bulb which was a vast improvement. Unfortunately, the light cover/globe does not accommodate the installation of larger bulbs. Not willing to reinstall the original bulb, nor willing to leave the light fixture exposed, there are very few solutions readily available.

There is a 3D model available which is, essentially, a spacer that lowers the glass globe. However, it mimics the factory design which utilizes friction fitment to retain the glass globe. The glass globe loosening due to vibrations produced from using the fan is plausible and causes me angst. Not wanting to experience being struck by a relatively heavy glass object in the middle of the night, I designed a replacement ceiling fan light cover/globe.

--This 3D model allows for the installation of a larger bulb.
--It also features a small yet positive lock up so it does not fall off.

NOTE
This 3D model MUST be printed in vase mode.
This 3D model MUST be printed in 0.1mm layer height or there will be gaps and/or print failures.
This 3D model may fit other series and/or brands of ceiling fans but is untested.
Only use light bulbs specified by the manufacturer which are deemed compatible.
Only use LED light bulbs as other types may produce excessive heat which could damage the print, bulb, and/or ceiling fan.
