The file 'CDA Dishwasher Tines Spikes Clip (3D Scanned) 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 30.9MB.
Replacement tines/spikes clip for CDA dishwasher. Created from two slightly incomplete 3D scans. Source files from scanning available on Printables (unable to upload here): https://www.printables.com/model/933914-cda-dishwasher-tines-spikes-clip-3d-scanned
Requires orienting in slicer (options pictured) and a slight cut made to get a flat surface to print from. May also need to be mirrored in slicer depending on which side needs replacing. Supports required. ABS/ASA/TPU suggested. PETG may be sufficient if temperature doesn't exceed 70 degrees Celsius.
Initially tried ASA in horizontal orientation (to optimise strength of clips) but it cracked along the layer lines in the very thin section when snapped into place. Printing in the vertical orientation may improve this but compromise the strength of other areas - not tested. The original intact clip I scanned then broke in the same way when trying to reinstall - seems to be a flaw in the design as it's very thin and gets put under strain when installed.
Ultimately printed horizontally in TPU with PLA supports on the Prusa XL. TPU supports not tested - probably not clean and difficult to remove. 95A worked okay but the retention force was a bit weak. Improved slightly with 98A - not as firmly held in place as with the original clips but certainly sufficient.
Model not perfect as produced by 3D scanning and manually fixing gaps and imperfections in Meshmixer.
