We have three cats that have been escaping through our wrought Iron fence. My wife was using a stick tied to a harness to keep them in. It was a time consuming process to set up, so I designed and printed a device that is much easier to set up.
The design fits our harness and fence spacing, so if yours are larger remember to resize all the parts if you want it to work.
I'm new to 3D printing, so I couldn't print the posts in one piece and have the threads work. If you can I included the whole thing too. Some cleaning up is required and if you are new to 3D threads you will probably need to cut a ring around the center piece with an x-acto knife. One side will require more work then the other for the threads to go in. I used super glue to glue the threads into the post.
I used Fusion 360 to design these and the .3mf files to slice. Thingiverse requires STL files so I saved it both ways.
Has worked with all three of our cats.
