I am currently working on an organizer for the Catan Seafarers box plus the 5-6 player expansion. Can I get it all to fit in the expansion box? There really is not as much here as what comes with the main game and it's expansion. So I started with the player's box to hold the ships and I will see if they all fit.
The player box is as small as I'm comfortable making it. You still need to be able to get your fingers in to pull out a ship. Having the lid cover the front makes that much more feasible.
You can try with or without supports for the lip. I'm not sure how well your printer prints small overhangs.
I have made the chits box similar to the ships box and sizing it to fit in the small box. I am almost done with the hex, ports, numbers, and pirate ship holder. I will upload after I print and tweak.
