The original version was going to take 24+ hrs to print. I have a finicky cat and didn't want to dedicate that much time to a large print. I also wanted to address the issue of PLA food safety/hygiene of the built in bowl. I have Ikea pet bowls and removed material so the bowl should fit. Slimmed down the frame and removed threads and pins as my printer couldn't handle the tolerances.
