Utility Blade Holder for Cardboard Strip Cutting (Remix)
This tool is designed to help you quickly and safely cut 33mm (1.3") wide strips of cardboard, ideal for making cat scratching boards. It is compatible with standard trapezoidal utility blades (a.k.a as STANLEY UTILITY BLADE 1992) .
Width 33mm is identical to the Cat Scratcher Cardboard Cutter proposed by Mike1513

Key Features:

Efficient and Safe Cutting: The blade is securely enclosed in a closed box, ensuring it cannot escape or become dislodged during use. This design also prevents the blade from getting stuck due to cardboard debris, enhancing both safety and durability for long-term use.

Optimized for Clean Cuts: Start by cutting from the straight edge of the cardboard—each subsequent cut will easily follow the initial path, ensuring consistent results.

There are two versions of the tool: one for awesome left-handed people (see pictures), and one for the perfectly fine right-handed folks. 😉

Remix Enhancements:

• Two-part design eliminates the need for bolts to lock the blade, simplifying the assembly.
• Easy maintenance: the split design allows for easy cleaning of debris around the blade.
• Improved Safety: The blade is securely locked by inserting a small piece of filament, which prevents accidental sliding. A quick pass with a 1.8mm drill bit is recommended to ensure smooth filament insertion.
