PLA recommended, 3" ABS pipe for silo part, securing parts will make a more stable unit, attaching a string to the cover will make manual opening easier. Applying polyurethane or similar produce to the high use areas will make the print stronger.
Cover optional. I am working on a method to control the opening and closing of the cover to be able to control the amount of food available. .
The 3d community is welcome to provide a method to do this.
