Summary

I looked at a few other cash organizers on thingiverse, but I wanted more of a staggered "stadium seating" style organizer, where the top of each bill is clearly visible.

  • Each of the slots is raked back a little bit.
  • Each slot as drawn is 1.25" deep, and the bottom of the slot is at a 90* angle to the back (and front) of the slot.
  • The walls/dividers are 1/4".

  • As drawn the whole thing is a little over 11" long, which may be too long for your printer. I scaled the Y axis down to 70% and it printed perfectly on a Sovol SV06.
  • Make sure you ONLY scale the the long axis (Y in my case), because if you scale the width, your cash won't fit!

Print settings:

  • I printed mine using PETG, mostly because I had a roll I wanted to use up.
  • I scaled the Y axis to 70% to fit on my 220x220 bed.
  • I used 10% infill, using the "cubic subdivision" pattern to save filament.
  • This used about 280gr of filament.
  • I experimented with a few ways to save filament, and couldn't save any additional filament over the built in cubic subdivision infill pattern.
